Colusa County lies in the heart of the Sacramento River Valley in the north central interior of California. Framed on its east/west sides by the Sacramento River and the Coastal Mountain Ranges, it offers a picturesque agricultural landscape. From about 10 miles west of Interstate 5 (our north-south business corridor), the foothills ease into the rich, fertile soils of the Sacramento Valley.
Colusa County is one of the few remaining oases of uncluttered western frontier with easy access to San Francisco, Sacramento, and Seattle, as well as the entire Northwest continent. We are ideally sited approximately mid-way between Los Angeles and Portland.
